Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 16, 2026
This policy describes what data Polo Breeders collects, how we use it and what rights you have over it. It applies to the app (iOS, Android and web) and to this site.
Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address and sign-in credentials, managed through Firebase Authentication (Google).
- Your breeding data: the information you record about your horses (profiles, pedigrees, health records, breeding services, embryos) and the photos you upload.
- Subscription data: payments are processed by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play; we never receive or store your card details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status.
How we use the data
- To provide the service: display and sync your breeding records.
- To authenticate you and protect your account.
- To send transactional emails (verification, password reset).
- To answer your support requests.
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.
Where it is stored
Data is stored with established infrastructure providers: the database on managed servers, photos on Amazon Web Services (S3) and authentication on Google Firebase. Transactional emails are sent through Resend.
Who can see your breeding data
Only you and the people you explicitly invite (vets, partners, staff) can access your breeding records. You can revoke that access at any time from the app.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by writing to the contact below.
Your rights
You may access, rectify and delete your personal data, in accordance with applicable data protection law (including Argentina's Personal Data Protection Act 25.326). To exercise these rights, contact us.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the updated version on this page with its effective date.
